Heisted from confusedcious (via ropes, lots of planning and a helicopter):
Your Score: Dionysus0% Extroversion, 13% Intuition, 55% Emotiveness, 80% Perceptiveness Although deeply emotional, you are extremely lacking in self-knowledge. You are somewhat needy, and when bored, may become very hedonistic. Your life is a quest for meaning, above all else. You are most like Dionysus. You are primarily interested in serving others, but your efforts are almost always unappreciated. You aren't confrontational, you're often out of tune with your own needs and unaware of the consequences of your own actions.
You are, at heart, a good person. You are very affectionate, and you are very loyal to your friends and family. You are very reluctant to burden others with your own problems, to the point that this in itself can become a problem for the people who care about you. This is a particular of a more general problem. Dionysus sends wave of ruin throughout his personal life. He is the photographer who seduces his subjects. He is the teacher who seduces a student. He is the art student who paints nonrepresentational splashes of color, he is the poet who rejects meter and content. You seek sexual partners more than anything else (this is to exploit the nurturing side of others to help fill your own void). If not sexual partners, this desire to become the object of sympathy with other people can manifest itself in other destructive ways. Stinkfist by Tool explains your condition pretty well. It's very likely that you haven't had many experienced mentors. You don't want them either, because you're the sort of person who rejects criticism and boundaries, but they're also your only hope for reaching any kind of emotional maturity.
Famous People Like You: John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Marilyn Monroe, Hugh Hefner I'd tell you to stay clear of Hermes, Icarus and Apollo, but you could probably learn something from them. You're least likely to hurt The Oracle, Atlas, Prometheus, and Daedalus, but Atlas and Daedalus won't like you very much. Seek out: The Oracle, Prometheus |

From teh Sakky:
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you |

| Oh Hey |
[Feb. 23rd, 2007|12:24 am] |
I just noticed that when looking at my LJ friends page, in the top bar theres an option saying: "Manage Friends"
And all I could think was "Manage Friends? I cannot manage these people, its impossible, like steering cats...without bribing them"
Also, my trucks water pump busted, but now its fixed (yay).
That is all. |

| Back..............to the Classes! |
[Jan. 23rd, 2007|12:31 am] |
Ummm, stuff, stuff, what to put here... -Mallow thinking what to post
Lets see, not much, umm; Cut my finger with my dremel tool, not very fun. Started cleaning out my truck, so I can take stuff to sell (scrap metal to scrap place and old stuff to antique/decoration shop). Umm, I think I'll get a flattop receiver for my M4, as it'll let me use any of the scopes I already have.
The second part is paying for the third, so I'm not really paying anything, huzza.
Umm, ask questions and stuff, I like answering questions other than "payment method and shipping address", which I dont really anymore, most computers know my sales info. |

Sakky had this up 1. Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. 5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. |

| On a Pale Horse Rides |
[Nov. 22nd, 2006|12:16 am] |
someone who bought a pale horse, duh
Gah, what is happening latly, umm:
Mum and Dad didn't get the truck, someone else bought it because they followed the rules and brought a money order to pay for the truck (no credit cards for stuff over $500).
I bought more model stuffs, costs alot of money, but provides temporary contentment.
Umm, Turkey Holiday is here, but I hate it (family bothering me and all, so very little time for my models).
....Damn I hate holidays.
Maybe there should be a national Leave Mallow Alone day/week/month. |

| Umm, stuff |
[Nov. 3rd, 2006|10:20 pm] |
Lets see, most of this week was boring. The end of last week I went to cabelas and bought a pistol, a nice Star Megastar .45, and I did some gunsmithing work for my dad and a neighbor. Today I went to a gun show (first in quite a few months), and found all kinds of interesting stuff. Bought some really little shotgun shells made by Aguila, and some cheap .25 auto rounds also by Aguila. Also bought a spare magazine for my Titan (the tiny .25 auto pistol) and a spare magazine for the Megastar. My biggest buy was a russian nagant revolver, a ww2 revolver in 7.62 Nagant (a funny little cartridge with the bullet set below the lip of the case), I haven't had a chance to fire it yes, but it is said to be accurate, if low powered for a revolver round. The grips fit the hand just like the old S&W Schofeld and Russian revolvers from before the turn of the century, which is a very comfortable and natural balance in the hand, and almost as easy to aim as a Luger (the luger, while being easy to aim, was not balanced well, and felt back heavy, making recoil worse than it should have been). Anyways, thats it for now, I'll post more if anyone is interested in hearing about it (you must post to say yay or nay to this). |

| Driving a Truck |
[Oct. 19th, 2006|03:28 am] |
Well, I usually think about such things to type here while I'm driving home, but then I forget about them and dont bother to type anything.
So heres some random thoughts from my drive home:
Things I've been called (at least stuff that sticks out im my mind): Boring (by many people) Creepy (also a huge number of people, but mostly females) Dull (usually by the same people as the first one) Bro (by a spanish guy I was about to stab for calling my grand mum a bad name) A robot (anyone whos been in mIRC knows about this one) Old fashoned (by one female today, so it's a first)
Nick names I've had: Mal (a Tug original) Doc (on several occasions)
Other random thoughts: I wonder if biglots has those license plate frames that look like a bunch of skulls? I should count all my furry friends, see how many there are. Why do all the opossums seem to flock to my house? Why do the turkey chase the opossums and get in my why when I'm trying to shoot the opossum? I need to get a new dog cable, maybe they have one for dogs bigger than 200lbs. What kind of dog does get to 200lbs??? Tomorrow I should get the front tires rotated. I dont think there's going to be a quiz in class tomorrow.
That, and I talked about animals and random stuff with a girl named Veronica who needed a ride home after class (she's in two of my classes, and for some reason I'm not 'creepy' to females who have night classes). It was nice to have someone new to talk to while I drive, even if it did take me maybe 20 miles out of my way.
And for those who were no on irc, the story of how I was called 'old fashioned': I was helping Dawn (she's the lesbian furry from my english class) with her with chem work (she's also in my chem class now, becouse her work schedual changed and she started coming to the same lecture as me today), and she just asked "why dont you fight back when Sabrina hits you with her folder?" So the conversation: Me: "well, it's not really a bother" Dawn: "Naaaah, I mean like grab the folder or somethin" Me: "well it doesn't seem like polite thing" Dawn: "so what? you won't fight back agianst girls or something?" *punches me in the shoulder* Me: "nope, won't fight back" Dawn: "hehehehehe you're soooo old fashoned" *punches me again* And after that she giggled more and then finished her chem work for tomorrow.
Umm, thats it for now, unless you want to see my el'boring chemistry work or something. Comment or whatever. |

| Looking here, there, and everywhere at once. |
[Oct. 1st, 2006|11:15 pm] |
When I named my LJ "Thinking of Thought" I had no idea how self descriptive I was actually being at the time
Oh, what to talk about.....
-Drove my dad north today to hunt for squirrels, or in my case, look at squirrels and then try to spook them without my dad noticing. -Bought a new norwegian camo coat for my collection. -Didn't get to go out to a club/band place thing with a possible new friend (she couldn't go, said she was hurt in a mosh pit), now she wont return my emails and I'm worried that I might have lost another possible friend (IRL friends, the kind you can go places with and stuff, without needing vacation days and a plane ticket). -Bunch of work to do tomorrow; replace grandmums lawnmower blade, get new tires for a trailer, see about a new rim for a truck tire, try to get a lab report done that I've not had time to do this weekend. Right now I'm running on mountain dew and 2hrs sleep, so I'm no good at focusing on chemical formula.
So I've now been thinking (as if I do anything else but think now days), which aspect of me did you like more?; When I was new to the internet stuffs and was all cheery posts and attempts at humor or entertainment. Or after I've been here for a few years, and have started to be like most the other people who come here to talk of their problems.
Do tell the truth, as I try not to lie or fib as much as possible. Plus, I dont get mad about internet stuff. |

Just wondering and all. |

| Moths in the wallet. |
[Sep. 19th, 2006|11:47 pm] |
Yeah yeah, I've made myself poor again, but I have alot of stuff to provide me with some time of enjoyment.
So on with the rest of the program. Last week was odd, my mum and dad went on a cruise, so I had the house to myself (hence why I was on mIRC/the interweb so much). The down side was that I had classes, so I didn't have much real down time (thank you study assignments of crap). Beyond that not much has been happening, I've been making alot of warhammer models and stuff, which is part of why I've run short on money. Umm, well theres not much else that I can think of at the moment (I think of stuff to write here at other times, then forget it, so meh).
Oh, today (the 19th) was talk like a pirate day, but no one pays attention irl, and I gave up years ago (talking like a pirate by yourself and then having to explain it to everyone is no fun).
Well, I'll probably go to bed, work/classes to do tomorrow and all. |

| No, this is not about Steve Irwin |
[Sep. 4th, 2006|01:20 pm] |
You all know he's dead, and I know this becouse most everyone who reads this has already made that post.
In other news (though not as interesting), I now have a paintball marker. Just a simple piranha r6 that was used (in good shape), the pressure regulator chamber leaks a bit becouse the threads on the plug are damaged, but if worse comes to worse I can make a whole new part that'll fit better. It's a blue one with the standard trigger (no electronic bullcrap), and I'm thinking about making a full auto switch for it. Before that however I'm messing with the barrel; so far I've chamfered the muzzel vents and added some ring cuts at different points to make it look snappier, in a bit I'll mill up a bayonet lug to clamp to the barrel for the hell of it (maybe I'll make a foam bayonet for it or something). Other than that I'm milling a double sided tac rail to replace where that stupid sight was (who came up with an idea for a v sight on a verticle feed?), once thats done I'mm probably put a laser sight on the right side (and cut the grip pad so the pressure switch for the laser is flush and won't fall off), and a weaver 4x scope on the left (ala han solo pisol scope). If I get bored later I might go yardsaleing and find another barrel to put on it, and then cut that one down to maybe 3" for a snub barrel effect (I could also make it a big pistol by mounting a 90degree feed in place of the vert. feed and making some spring fed tubes, but that would make the whole thing a bit big for what it is).
Well, thats it for now. Over and Out |

| Broke Again (well, for a little while anyways) |
[Aug. 26th, 2006|12:00 am] |
Q: So what has Mallow been up to? A: Spending his money on "stuff".
Yep, I'm made myself somewhat broke again through being interested in alot of things. I went to an auction on the 26th with my dad and spent just over $500 on my own (my dad sort of bought me stuff, but he'll use it anyways, meh).
So what did I get? ( List O' Expense )
About a week ago I found an interesting little handgun for $50 and picked it up. It's a .25ACP semi-automatic pistol by FIE. Now the .25 ACP is by no means a man stopper, let alone more than a rat stopper, but I dont think I'd have a problem using this on a rat (it's amazingly accurate with it's little 2.5" barrel, and I'm getting 4-5" groups at 40m unrested with factory ammo). It magazine holds a modest 7 rds for it's size, and it has no more felt recoil then a .22, yet I can almost conceal it in my hand (it's easily smaller than my wallet).
Anyways, my classes are soon starting. I like watching move in day, it's insane (yes, I dont live on campus yet I went to watch the move in chaos/see what people might throw out becouse they can't have it in the dorms). My class schedual is good, but I have a 11:00 class that cuts into my midnight IRC time by a couple hours durring most of the week, and then work on saturday doesn't help (but it pays, and is kind of fun).
Well, I must leave more untill later, as I must be off (thanks to work in the morning). -Exodus |

| Update and such |
[Jun. 26th, 2006|10:40 pm] |
First things first, I didn't put this up last night becouse my computer crashed, but here it is: I was tagged by Sakky (sakura_merquise), and so heres a look at my warped mind;
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your 7 songs. Then tag 6 other people to see what they're listening to.
In no particular order whatsoever (becouse I can hardly remember what I've been listening to more than a minute after, so these are mostly just songs I liked): -Goldfinger: 99 Red Balloons -Red Hot Chili Peppers: Slow Cheetah -Clutch: The Mob Goes Wild -The Raconteurs: Steady As She Goes -The Dead Milkmen: Punk Rock Girl -Drowning Pool: Bodies -Stone Sour: Through Glass
6 Peoples who are now Tagged: kanadragonheart d00dle-f0x tug-the-dragon trent-soviet confusedcious caz_
Ok, on to the less interesting stuff, such as what I've been doing. ( my world of madness )
Anways, thats about it. I'll be at a gun show friday night, maybe something of interest will pop up and eat the rest of my money. Fun note: 1hr 12min 34sec was spent typing this post due to annoying family. |
